into swimming and movement.

Clare Rourke
Clare completed a 3 year full time training at the Oxford Alexander Technique Training school and has a great enthusiasm for the work based on the positive impact it can have for individuals both personally and professionally. Clare teaches from home in East Oxford and assists Penny on the MA course for Actors at the ArtsEd. She plays folk guitar and particularly enjoys exploring the use of the Technique in musical performance (and as a tool to address stagefright !). http://www.alexworks.co.uk
Penny O'Connor
Penny worked for ten years in theatre as a writer/performer/director. She assisted the training of other Alexander teachers for three years in North London and set up a consultancy Awareness and Development to take the Technique into the workplace, organising conferences and workshops. Penny currently works with musical theatre and acting students as resident teacher of the Alexander Technique at the ArtsEd school for Performing Arts in London, where she also runs a professional development scheme mentoring newly qualified Alexander Technique teachers. http://www.alexanderpen.co.uk/
