Week 1 - for beginners or those who have had very few lessons (led by Penny O'Connor & Clare Rourke)
27th June - 4th July

Week 2 - for students and teachers of the Alexander Technique(led by Penny O'Connor)
4th July - 11th July

The program (for up to ten people each week) will run from Saturday to Thursday as outlined below – Fridays being arrival and departure day.
There will be free time in the program for boat trips, exploration or pure holidaying.
Each course is self contained, but beginners may choose to attend the first week or the combined two week course.
Evening sessions may include a walk to the pine forest or optional boat trip under the stars.

Proposed daily timetable - week 1
Morning
8.30 – 10.00 walking meditation to beach and swim
9.00 – 10.00 optional yoga session
or lie in
10.30 – 12.00 group learning session in Alexander Technique
12.00 – 12.30 individual lessons *

Afternoon
Time for reflection/relaxation with option to book lessons in the Shaw Swimming Method
at various beaches around the island.

Evening
6.30 – 7.00pm individual lessons *
7.00 – 8.30pm group learning session in Alexander Technique

*All participants will have one individual lesson scheduled each week

7.00 – 8.30pm games/experiments in traditional procedures, unified field of attention and voicework.

The walking is along hilly and rocky paths so a reasonable state of fitness is required- and shoes more substantial than flip-flops! It may be that some days we will take the workshop outside under the pine trees, or by the sea. The timetable is a guideline, not fixed.
